Letter from the Governor, March 2021

Howdy to all the Pacifica Moose Lodge members,

Hard to believe that one year ago this month we were ordered to shelter in place and the lodge closed. We all thought it would only be for a short time.

Now here we are in 2021, feeling encouraged that life will be better. The state is loosening restrictions, and soon we will be able to open and get back to having fun and enjoying the social quarters. In the meantime, we have a lot to do. Later this month we will be painting the inside of the lodge, thanks to Tammy Ferman and Legionnaire Jessie Hawkins for helping us get a grant from the Foresters Financial group. Also a big thanks to our Fellow Jere Morgan for getting us an amazing price on the paint. We will have a paint party on March 27th. We need a ton of help. If you can offer 4 hours of your time on the 27th let me or Paul Lavorini know. If you cannot make that date but you would like to help, we have a lot of prep work that needs to be done.

As we near the end of my year as Governor I have been touched by the amazing support of our membership. To all those who gave above and beyond I thank you. I know 2021 will be a year that we move forward from the dark cloud of 2020. Membership is key to our success. Renew your membership and signup new members.

Being a Loyal Order of Moose member is an honor to serve the community. This year we will be ONE MOOSE!

Fraternally Yours
Leonard Iniguez
Governor 2020-2021

Margaret and I wish you all the best.
