Pacifica Moose Lodge Makes History!
On Tuesday June 22nd at approximately 7:00pm, history was made. Our Lodge held its first One Moose enrollment. For the first time in our history and from this time forward our new member enrollments will be for men and women together, as one. All new members will become members at the same scheduled enrollment ceremony.
The One Moose concept is our new way of life. I truly believe it will make us realize our new motto: “Stronger Together”! Now we all, as equal members of the Lodge, share all the same values and commitments to strengthen our lodges and communities and together fulfill our obligations to Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
I’m looking forward to having even more of the women’s involvement. It’s a known fact, women get more done then men. Yes I said it.
I want to congratulate these 19 new members that witnessed first-hand that we are finally equal members of the Lodge with all the opportunities for advancement. The new women can instantly become Women of the Moose while the new men can instantly become Moose Legionnaires, and that’s just the beginning.
I want to finally welcome everyone back to the lodge. As of July 1st, we will have new business hours Tuesday thru Saturday. Please look for these new posted hours in the newsletter as well as here. We also needed to adjust some of our food prices to offset the market prices we are all faced with. We will also be trying additional menu changes in the future to try and keep costs under control.
