From the Senior Regent, September 2021

Dear Brothers & Co Workers,

The Officers and Comittee Chairman of your Women of the Moose Chapter have been hard at work creating activities that you would enjoy, while raising funds for Mooseheart, Moosehaven, and various local charities.

Special thanks go to Gina Myers, (and Tony Johnson of the Moose Legion), for chairing our very successful Car Show on July 10th, and to Chairman Angela Wills for creating our Bowling Tournament at Classic Bowl on July 31st, where lots of fun was had by all!
In August, Pacifica Lodge hosted a Blood Drive on the 7th. Followed by the Moose Olympics on the 14th!

Chairman Audrey Nauer-Allen arranged a Ladies Night Out Potluck Social after our Chapter Meeting on the 17th, and will host a Special “Open Meeting”, (non-members may attend), to honor our 5-time Star Recorder, Debbie Willers-Blanchard on August 31st at 7 PM.

Are you going to the California-Nevada Convention in Sparks, Nevada? It will be held at the Sparks September. 17th – 20th, with an optional WOTM Training on the 16th. Details are on the CANV Website.

Our September 21st meeting’s activity will be hosted by our Membership Retention Chairman, Jeanette Tevis-Dancy. Details are still being worked out, come out to see what she’s creating!

Check out the District Social at the Monterey Lodge October 2nd, and the District Picnic at the Santa Cruz Lodge on October 9th! Get to know other Moose members from our District!

October 16th will be our “Christmas in October” Craft Faire! Which will be open from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This will be followed by an Italian dinner that evening.

Our October 19th Chapter meeting will also carry our Christmas in October theme. (Christmas in October events help raise additional funds to give our children at Mooseheart and our Seniors at Moosehaven a nice Christ- mas. We need to raise the funds now, so that we can send them the funds in time to fulfill their Christmas shopping list.)

Mooseheart/Moosehaven Chairman, Gena Myers is planning a pizza party with bingo after our October 19th meeting.

Saturday, October 30th will be both the kid’s Halloween party from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, followed by the adult Halloween dinner & dance that evening.

Save the date: November 20th for Night of the Imposters, a Talent Show Extravaganza!
Sign-up in advance for these amazing activities. Come and join the fun!

In Faith, Hope and Charity,

Affectionately,
L.E “ Ellie Bowen”
